Notes from the campaign trail:
Lawn signs: If you've requested a lawn sign the campaign will be calling you this week. If you haven't yet requested one, send an email to VoteLori@gmail.com and Team Lori will make sure your yard has a good dose of blue for autumn.
Coffees: We've had a great month of summer "coffees" (or meet-and-greets) by terrific hosts in the district. Front yards, back yards and living rooms all worked out perfectly. If you'd be interested in hosting a September or October gathering, please email VoteLori@gmail.com and we'll get it all set up for you. Lori's calendar is really filling up, so please don't wait too long.
What a weekend! The heat and humidity didn't stop Team Lori. We gathered at the Farmer's Market and then pounded the pavement going door-to-door in our signature bright blue t-shirts. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive! Special thanks to those offering us cold water and even fresh baked banana bread. Note: Still having a great time knocking doors!!
Re-election time!
There are so many ways you can lend a hand to make sure that Lori is re-elected to serve a second full term. Our volunteers always comment that they have a great time but if you don't have time, you can volunteer your front yard for a sign or make a contribution. Find whatever way works best for you.
Special thanks to those who were able to join us at the 2010 Kickoff Gala for Lori's Re-election at Sweeney's! An enthusiastic crowd of over 200 spilled out into the parking lot. We're in full swing so if you'd like to volunteer or contribute, make sure you reach out to us using the website, email (VoteLori@gmail.com). We have so many fun events and activities planned but they won't be complete without you!
